I used less than 60g skein of the main color #4 medium worsted weight acrylic yarn and a 3.0 mm hook for all cats. Since this is a scrap project, I do not have yarn names or exact amounts to list. However, most of my yarn was purchased at Daiso in Japan.

Gauge is not important but make sure all of your yarn is the same weight.

Stitches used in American terminology:

MR – magic ring
sc – single crochet
ch – chain
inc – increase (by creating 2 sc stitches together into the same space)
dec –decrease (by joining 2 sc stitches together with a single stitch)
sl st – slip stitch
hdc – half double crochet
DC – double crochet
TR – triple crochet
FO – finish off
FLO – front loop only
BLO – back loop only

Pattern is worked in the round and stuff as you go unless otherwise noted.
Close up photos are at the end of pattern to assist in assembly.

Slip stitch to first sc to close. FO with tail to sew.

I sewed my arms between the top 2 rounds of red on the body, centered on both sides. The feet and tail are all sewn starting between rounds 6 and 7 at the beginning of the body. I tack the tail to the body at around the middle of the red stripe. The horizontal line of the nose was done between rounds 12 and 13 of the head, counting down from the magic ring. The top of the eyes will fall one round above that with about 3 stitches between the edge of the nose and edge of the eye. The ears are positioned starting between rounds 2 and 3 on the top of the head and will curve toward the back of the head, finishing with a curve back to being in line with the arms.

Congratulations! You have completed a cat!
